Who is providing this notice?		The Edelman Financial Group Inc. and its subsidiaries and affiliates set forth below.

What we do
How does The Edelman Financial Group protect my personal information?		To protect your personal information from unauthorized access and use, we use security measures that comply with federal law. How does The Edelman Financial Group collect my personal information? Why can’t I limit all sharing? Definitions
Affiliates		Companies related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial companies. Our affiliates include financial companies such as Edelman Financial Services, LLC, financial advisors, such as SMH Capital Advisors, Inc. and GFS Advisors, LLC, broker dealers such as Sanders Morris Harris Inc. and Global Financial Services, Inc., and insurance agencies such as HWG Insurance Agency, Inc.
Nonaffiliates		Companies not related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial companies. We do not share with nonaffiliates so they can market to you.
Joint marketing		A formal agreement between nonaffiliated financial companies that together market financial products or services to you. We do not jointly market with nonaffiliated companies.
