Edelman Financial Services LLC, one of the largest and best-known financial planning and investment advisory firms in the country, is seeking skilled Financial Planners to join our firm throughout the New York and New Jersey Metro areas.
Our firm is more than 20 years old, has 40 advisors and more than 120 support staff serving 13,000 clients with $4.5 billion in assets. We are attracting more new clients and assets every day —hundreds of people call us each week, having heard of us through The Ric Edelman Show (heard locally on WABC); our PBS television specials, interviews on radio and television, and through our New York Times best-selling books. These callers are seeking our help in these challenging times.
FINANCIAL PLANNERS
If you are an experienced advisor with a strong planning background, let’s talk. By working with us, you can enjoy greater career success than you ever thought possible — we can provide you with all the clients you can handle, as well as the services, systems and support you need. It goes without saying that our investment management is everything you’d want it to be.
WHAT YOU NEED
Successful candidates will have at least five years of experience working directly with consumers, turning them into clients by analyzing their needs, developing and presenting recommendations, and maintaining effective relationships to help them achieve their goals. Candidates must have a clean compliance record, the Series 7, 63 and 65 or 66 and insurance licenses, and ideally at least one professional designation.
WHAT WE'LL PROVIDE
Edelman Financial will provide you with extensive training and support during your transition. Ongoing, complete administrative support and a regular stream of prospective clients for you to serve. If you currently have Planning Assistants in your practice, we will consider hiring them for you. Your responsibility will be to serve the best interests of those clients using our proven approach.
